Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 6, 2026

This policy explains the limited information used to answer messages, run the Launch Grand Prix game, protect fair play, display the public leaderboard, and understand which site features are useful. We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, operate the game, send a game submission receipt, review eligibility for any announced discount or prize, maintain the leaderboard, understand which site features are useful, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and protect the site.

Leaderboard and sharing

The public leaderboard may show a player name or username, score, completion status, and time. New leaderboard records do not store the player's email address. Leaderboard records are stored in a GitHub-backed project data file in a public repository, so submitted player names and scores should be treated as public. A complete game submission, including email, may be sent to a configured private administrative webhook. Contact and game emails are processed through Resend. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated abuse; Cloudflare may process routine device, browser, and network information for that verification. The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics along with delivery resources from Google Fonts, jsDelivr, and Tailwind's content delivery service.

Purchase links lead to third-party retailers. Their privacy practices apply after you leave this site.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, record keeping, dispute handling, and site security. Contact-form rate-limit records expire after 24 hours. No internet service can promise absolute security, but access is limited to the project operators and service providers that need it.

Young users

The book is designed for ages 9+, and some site visitors may be children. A parent or guardian should help a child decide whether to submit a contact form or game entry. Please do not submit unnecessary personal details, school information, home addresses, passwords, or sensitive information. Student creators are represented collectively to protect their privacy.

Your choices

You can clear browser storage through your browser settings and can choose not to use the contact form or leaderboard. To ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion, email authors@formularacingcamp.com. We may need enough information to verify and locate the request.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the site or its services change. The latest version and date will appear here. Privacy questions can be sent to authors@formularacingcamp.com.
